We recommend enrolling at least two weeks before your preferred class start date to secure your spot. Enrollment may remain open closer to the start date if space is available.
How do I enroll?
Complete the admissions form or contact South Avionics Training Center. Our admissions team will help you choose your program, class schedule, and payment option and guide you through the enrollment process.
What programs do you offer?
We offer the Advanced Avionics Technician Program and the Industrial Electronics & Automation Program, along with certification and testing preparation including NCATT, FCC, and ETA certifications.
How long are the programs?
Our main career-training programs are designed to be completed in approximately 6 months, depending on the class schedule and student progress.
How much is tuition?
Tuition for our main career-training programs is $6,500. Flexible payment plans are available with 0% interest.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer flexible payment plans with 0% interest to help students pay tuition over time instead of paying the full amount upfront.
What schedules are available?
We offer flexible class schedules, including evening and Saturday options. Availability may vary by program and class start date.
Do you offer online classes for out-of-state students?
Yes. We offer a hybrid training option for students who live outside Florida. Portions of the program can be completed online, but the hands-on training must be completed in person at South Avionics Training Center. Out-of-state students can coordinate with our team to schedule their hands-on training
What will I learn in the Advanced Avionics Technician Program?
Students receive hands-on training in avionics, aircraft electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, testing equipment, and industry-standard practices while preparing for recognized avionics certifications.
What will I learn in the Industrial Electronics & Automation Program?
Students receive hands-on training in industrial electronics, PLCs, automation systems, electrical controls, troubleshooting, and related industrial technology used in modern automated environments.
What certifications can I prepare for?
Depending on the program, students can prepare for industry-recognized certifications such as NCATT AET, FCC licenses, and ETA certifications.
Do you help students find jobs?
We provide resume assistance, career guidance, and industry connections to help students pursue employment opportunities. Employment is not guaranteed, but we work to help students prepare for the hiring process and connect with industry opportunities when available.
Can I schedule a tour before enrolling?
Yes. You can schedule a tour of South Avionics Training Center to see the facility, learn more about the programs, and ask questions before enrolling.
Do you offer classes in Spanish?
Our classes are conducted in English because English is the standard language used in the aviation and technical industries in the United States. However, we have bilingual English/Spanish instructors who can provide additional explanations and support in Spanish when needed.
Do I need previous aviation, electronics, or automation experience?
No previous experience is required for most students. The programs are designed to build technical knowledge and practical skills from the fundamentals through hands-on training.
